Shallow girls ruin the world

Do not you hate that kind of people that always need to feel feminine to be a woman? Or maybe those girls that are so self-centered and boasters, anyway I really can’t stand them. The bad thing about them is that they are everywhere, they are like taxis, whenever you need them you never got to see one, but when you don’t, hundreds of them pass by in front of you. Back to the subject, a few weeks ago I was in the supermarket, when I found one of them, she looked the most superficial one could barely imagine, wearing her 15 high heel shoes, her fur coat, her highly arranged hair, and a wallet that seemed straight out of a fashion magazine. She was complaining to the manager because the store clerk asked if her coat was real or not, I mean, who can argue with someone about that?, and the administrator apologized with her for the indiscretion of the store clerk. In movies they say the bad guys will never get their way, but in real life, blond, cute, and nice girls always do, anything they crave, they always obtain it.

  1. BRAINLESS GIRLS
I definately agree with you. If there's one thing that gets on my nerves it's that type of people, specially when they are selfish and spoilt girls who don't have anything in their heads to fill the absence of their brains. It annoys me to think that they will be squandering money in banal thing such as bags, makeup and expensive shoes they actually don´t need. The worst part is that anybody can't stand them, at least their own "friends". I know it's a little bit cruel, but, come on!, they won´t have a fruitful life unless they buy one.

  2. I partially agree with you. It is true that self-centered people are really annoying but I do not think that shallow girls ruin the world. It is not bad to try to be as feminine as you can if you like it.
"Shallow girls" as you call them, may feel more confident in they high heels, coats and extremely arranged hair as I do being in sneakers, jeans and really big sweaters.
In this world, there are a lot of types of people and you are not going to like them all, but if they like to look as they do, just let them be.

  3. THEY DEFINITELY LIVE IN ANOTHER WORLD

I am of the same mind about that. These kind of girls are just detrimental to our society. They don't let us develop as a productive and efficient society because in their "perfect" world they don't belong to it. Even if it sounds cruel,as teenagers they don't think about how their future jobs will contribute to the development of their country; they think of what is the ultimate fashion statement. However, this does not mean that all teenagers should think about it but that ,at some point, they should realize they live in a real world and know that they have to grow and tunr into mature adults. If we think more carefully about these girls, we may conclude that none of them has actually a real cause of admiration and that is a real irony .I end stating that a girl should not be judged for her appearance, but for the kind of person she is and for her actions.

  4. Now, I believe we are all being a little bit too harsh. I agree with Sharon, we don't know what this girls have gone through, so we can't judge them. It is true that a lot of them are just shallow dumb-heads, but we can't cut them all with the same mold. There might be reasons why they act this way, and, though it is true that they don't think about anything else but themselves, we can't do nothing but just ignore them. They are doing nothing to make the world a better place, but they aren't doing anything against it either.

  5. Well, I also tend to agree with Sharon and Paola. Not only people who are all dressed in the latest fashion can ruin the world, anyone can. The way a person looks is just their choice. Miryam

  6. When I read your post an image came to my mind... a girl I saw this evening in Wong that was wearing a fur coat and sunglasses, yes, sunglasses at 7:35pm, and then I remembered another girl in the church who had those 15 high heels and an expensive and big wallet ...so i think it is true that you can find them anywhere you go, they're like taxis (as you said) but I don't really think that they ruin the world. I mean, they have done nothing to you, what if we just try and ignore them? let's let them be themselves.

  9. In my opinion, i don't think what you're saying is totally right. I agree with you when you kind of say that it's a little bit dumb to argue with a manager about a coat but it's our opinion maybe it's something important for them. As Sharon mention, it's the way they are, they feel more confident in their high-heels and all the things they wear it's part of them to be more feminine than others, you may not like it but it's their environment. they live rounded by people like them so they're kind of use to that. Just like everyone said, let them be whatever they want to be, it's their life.
